Bushbabies Lodge is nestled in the North-Eastern side of the Dinokeng Game Reserve, home to the Big 5. The malaria-free bush-breakaway you’ve been waiting for is just 40 minutes from Pretoria and 1 hour and 20 minutes from O.R. Tambo International Airport.
Because of our location on the North-Eastern boundary of Dinokeng, the stars are brighter at night, you hear lion roars, jackals bark, hyenas whooping, bushbabies cry, owls screeches, the insects sing and much more is often heard at night.

Barend is no stranger to bush life, with living many years in Limpopo, he clearly understands the Bushveld dream. Be sure to book a game drive or bush walk with trained guides, whose knowledge of the bush-veld and life in it, will have you in awe.
Together with his wife, Charmaine, this dynamite couple will surely impress the guests of Bushbabies Lodge. But never trust the narrator… Come and see for yourself!

Facilities include guided game drives, guided bush walks, 2 swimming pools, a children’s play area with a splash pad and climbing wall, a spacious lapa with a braai area within a luscious lawn setting and shaded trees. Be sure to visit THE SLIDE RESTAURANT and GIN BAR on the premises when enjoying your stay with us.
With the variety of accommodation options the lodge is popular for 30th, 40th 50th and 60th and other birthday celebrations as well as other group functions. The lodge sleeps 29 guests and additional 30 guests can be accommodated in our camp sites. A variety of catering options are available from breakfast, evening braai and lamb on the spit, all served at our lapa area. An additional stretch tent can be erected for larger groups.
